You will have a university degree in an unrelated field, or have been working in a totally different domain. It’s possible you’ll be interested by transitioning into an information evaluation role for some time, but have no idea where to begin. If this appears like you, carry on reading! 😉
Essentially there are 2 ways to get into data analytics:
- (1) Completely self-taught: then cleverly mix analytics skills along with your current domain knowledge either out of your earlier study or jobs to realize competitive advantage;
- (2) Taking an information analytics degree or bootcamp.
On this blog post we are going to focus totally on the self-taught route with the goal of becoming an information analyst, which is a superb start line to numerous other data science roles. This can be how I began 6 years ago, back then I used to be enthusiastic about healthcare analytics so that is the realm I started off with.
